Le Selve

Private house, somewhere near biella (italy)
restoration, Interior design, custom furnishing

When I was young my parents used to let me pass the long months of the high school summer breaks in a summer camp — I would spend my time in the nature, riding horses and recharging the batteries for the following school year.

One day, wandering in the countryside around the camp by car, as it was too hot to do anything else in the mid hours of the day, I ended up in a wood. Suddenly a small red fox crossed my way and ran up the hill hiding in the bushes: I decided to stop the car and chase it — I wanted to know where it was going!

I started to walk, climbing the hill in the wood and enjoyng the wonderful chill of tree's shadows (obviously loosing the traces of the small fox). It was just amazing, an oasis of peace deep in the countryside a few kilometers out of Biella. It was there that I fell in love for the first time: suddely an old, abandoned refugee, a stable where farmers used to recover their animals and dry chestnuts appeared in front of me.

I felt home there. I needed to live there. And with no small sacrifices, luck and hard work, after some years I realized my dream: let me introduce you to my home.
